How this list works
Every restaurant below was verified as operating as of July 2026 through current listings (Tripadvisor, Zomato, official sites, delivery apps). No affiliate links, no paid placement. We deliberately don't print phone numbers or hours we couldn't confirm — Google Maps and Instagram are always fresher than a static guide.

Sonamu — Asiana Hotel, Deira
The signature restaurant of the Korean-owned Asiana Hotel and the closest thing Dubai has to a "proper" Korean BBQ house: grills built into the tables, marinated bulgogi and beef galbi, a full lineup of stews and pancakes, and private dining rooms for groups. Being a hotel venue matters here — it's the natural pick for a business dinner. One of the highest-rated Korean spots in the city on Tripadvisor. Expect hotel-restaurant pricing (mid-high).
Sobahn (소반) — Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Safa
A Korean + Japanese restaurant frequently cited by Korean residents, right off Sheikh Zayed Road with first-floor city views. The mixed menu makes it safe for groups where someone hasn't tried Korean food — jjamppong, kimchi jjigae, bulgogi, and tangsuyuk share the card with Japanese staples.

Hyu — JLT, Cluster O
A Korean-run BBQ restaurant operating in Dubai since 2010, in JLT since 2017. Known for table BBQ where staff help with the grilling, and for using US Angus beef for its marinated galbi. Comfortable for both the after-work crowd from the Marina/JLT towers and families. Also on Deliveroo and Talabat for delivery.
Shogun — Dubai Media City
A long-runner serving Korean alongside Japanese and Thai — the Korean BBQ plates (short ribs, brisket, bulgogi) with live table grills are the reason it makes Korean-food lists, including Time Out Dubai's. Handy if you work in Media City / Internet City; cost for two runs around AED 150. A second branch operates at Al Ghurair Centre in Deira.
Seoul Garden — Al Karama
One of Dubai's original Korean restaurants — Time Out notes it has been around since 1999. Old-school homestyle cooking: tteokbokki, gimbap, stews, and grill-it-yourself meats at friendlier prices than the newer BBQ spots. If you want the "Korean neighborhood diner" experience rather than a scene, this is it.
Mannaland — Al Hudaiba (Al Mina Road, near Satwa)
A homestyle casual spot with a loyal following for its bibimbap, bulgogi, house-made kimchi, and naengmyeon. Portions are generous and prices reasonable; listings note halal food and vegetarian options. Its location near the Satwa/Al Hudaiba grocery cluster makes it an easy pairing with an Asian-market shopping run.
Hanok — International City
Korean and Korean-Chinese cooking — this is where you go for jjajangmyeon and jjamppong done properly, alongside standard Korean home dishes. Useful for residents on the International City / Silicon Oasis side of town, where Korean options are otherwise thin.
Choosing by situation
- Business dinner or first-timer group → Sonamu (hotel setting) or Sobahn (mixed menu)
- Proper table BBQ night → Hyu or Shogun
- Homestyle comfort food on a budget → Seoul Garden or Mannaland
- Korean-Chinese craving → Hanok
- Abu Dhabi: the scene is smaller but real — Hankook (Al Nahyan) is the long-standing name; verify current status before a special trip.
Ordering Korean for delivery
- Searching "Korean" on Talabat returns 20-30 results across Dubai; several of the restaurants above (Hyu, Shogun, Mannaland) are on Talabat, and Hyu is also on Deliveroo.
- Delivery menus are usually trimmed versions — BBQ cuts rarely travel, but stews, bibimbap, and fried chicken do.
- The in-app delivery tip goes directly to the driver — different from a restaurant service charge.
