Vehicle accident
- Call 999 (even minor accidents — insurance claim requires a Police Report number)
- Stay put; photograph the scene
- Contact your insurer's hotline (on the card you got at signup)
- If rental car, notify the rental company's 24h line
Fire
- Call 997 (Dubai) or 998 (elsewhere)
- Evacuate — no elevators, use stairs
- Report: location (building name · area · postal code) and injuries (yes/no) clearly
Theft / loss
- Call 999 and file a Police Report (needed for passport reissue and insurance claims)
- Passport lost → contact the diplomatic post's 24h emergency line within 24 hours
- Credit card lost → issuer's international hotline
